“Dabo’s All In Ball” Huge Success!

 

On Friday April 8th, Kathleen and Dabo Swinney hosted the second annual All in Ball at the Madren Center on the Clemson University Campus. Over $170,000 was raised for Dabo’s All in Team Foundation!

Blue Ridge Security was lead sponsor.

Coach Gene Stallings was the keynote speaker. Channel 4 Morning News Anchor Geoff Hart served as the “Master of Ceremonies” and Darren Meares conducted the “Live Auction”.

The Live Auction raised $47,150 and included items such as; a 4 Day Hunting Trip to Western Kentucky, A Tony Stewart NASCAR Experience, a Round of Golf with Coaches Brad Brownell and Dabo Swinney, Honorary Coach for the Spring Game, and a Trip with the Clemson Tiger Football Team to Georgia Tech next October.

The Silent Auction rose over $26,000 and included such items as dinners, signed prints and memorabilia by Clemson coaches and former players, golf outings with Clemson Assistant Football Coaches, and luxury golf weekends at Lake Keowee.

The funds will go to support the foundation’s four focus areas; Breast Cancer Prevention and Research, Family Effect, Clemson’s Call Me Mister Program, and the Rise Program in Tuscaloosa, AL. In addition the Foundation awards grants based on need and fit within the mission statement and focus areas.

Jeanie and Fred Gilmer from Greenville, S.C. served as chair-persons.
