Dabo's All-In Team Foundation Supports "Call Me Mister" |
|
DABO’S ALL IN TEAM® Foundation has donated $10,000 to Clemson’s Call Me Mister program. The mission of “Call Me MISTER” is to increase the pool of available teachers from a broader more diverse background particularly among the State's lowest performing elementary schools. Student participants are largely selected from among under-served, socio-economically disadvantaged and educationally at-risk communities. Dr. Roy Jones the program director said, “On behalf of the Call Me MISTER network of institutions and students, we are honored that Coach Swinney’s All In Foundation has once again demonstrated their confidence in our program mission through their very generous contribution. As a direct result of his support, we are able to continue providing valuable services to our students through the implementation of our summer and academic year co-curriculum, which focuses heavily on our teacher as servant-leader philosophy. We were able to host 42 student interns from multiple campuses this summer and conduct a leadership institute for participants in our network from five states all made possible by support from the All In Foundation. Much of the feedback we receive from students have described their experience this summer as ‘life changing’!” Proceeds from the Foundation’s annual fantasy camp, fund raising events and at-large donations go toward supporting the “Call Me MISTER” program. | |
